April 2008 – London, UK – PDA Europe Presence at UTECH Europe 2009
PDA Europe and Deutsche Bauchemie e.V. (German Association of Construction Chemicals Manufacturers) joined forces and set up a working group "Polyurea in der Bauwirtschaft". Both the major producers of polyurea raw materials and formulators of specialty products for the construction industry will collaborate to issue a status report with a description of polyurea under diverse aspects of usage and environmental behaviour. Further on German and European regulations for the construction area will be identified which are relevant for specific areas as e.g. roofing, flooring, bridge construction, water treatment, potable water etc. The group will analyse the situation and work out recommendations how polyurea can be used or certified under existing regulations. It will also be taken care of that polyurea will be incorporated into new and upcoming regulations. The working group is open for additional members, however, requires membership in Deutsche Bauchemie e.V.
